Most everyone that cooks is familiar with the herb for cooking, “Cilantro.” Adding Cilantro to food dishes enhances the flavor and provides some health benefits too. For the elderly it is a pain reliever and works wonders on arthritic joints. It is effective for colds, flu, fever and cough. It helps to reduce gas buildup in the digestive system.
Two things that particularly excite me about Cilantro Essential Oils are Cilantro is an antioxidant and is effective in fighting off cancer causing cells. Cilantro is also wonderful for babies suffering with colic. I am thinking that maybe this is what the Indians used for their babies. You never know. :-)))
Cilantro as an Essential Oil is very tasty and full of flavor. Add it to salads and dips for a unique flavor. It can be ingested orally. Place two drops into a capsule and swallow. It assists with digestion after over indulging at meal times. It may also be used as a detoxifier and natural cleanser for the body.
It is also great to use in a diffuser with your favorite citrus essential oil. Place 3-4 drops of Cilantro into your diffuser.
Cilantro should be on your spice rack in the kitchen along with your other spices and herbs. You can get a bottle now of pure, Therapeutic Grade Cilantro at www. youngliving.com
